Vintage Triumph Racing Number Plates
I don’t have an interest in selling these anymore but I do still get requests for them so I’m making the design files available to those who are interested in making their own. Contact me if you’d like the CAD files and/or detailed drawings.
I patterned these after some I’d seen on original desert racer’s (like Bud Ekins, Steve McQueen, etc...) bikes from the 1960's and 1970's. They’re designed for unit Triumphs but may fit other models as well - please have a look at the dimensions provided to see if they will work on your sled!
I used 0.063” 5052-H32 aluminum sheet, laser cut and formed to wrap cleanly back around the forks / fork yokes. They use the fork pinch bolts and speedometer mounting bosses for a really solid mount. Depending on the setup you may need spacers to get your desired offset from the forks. I’ve run mine for hundreds of rough miles in the desert without issue.
